Cash is Still King
Cash is still the most common method of payment representing almost half of all transactions according to a recent survey conducted by RFi, a specialist financial services research and intelligence firm. The study went on to say that while cash is the most frequently used method of payment, it accounts for less than 20% of the value of all transactions and this share is in decline.

Mortgage Strategic Insight - Stress and Stickiness: Lenders should be careful of borrowers who have had their loan for two to four years
Two to four years appears to be the time when borrowers are particularly stressed, with 34% of those who have had their mortgage for two to three years and 30% of those who have had their mortgage for three to four years saying they expect difficulty meeting repayments in some or all of the months of the coming year. Lenders should be aware that these borrowers are particularly vulnerable to stress, according to the March 2011 survey of 2,000 mortgage holders conducted by specialist research and intelligence firm RFi.
